PLA polymers are synthesized from lactic acid, a naturally occurring monomer. The unique molecular structure of lactic acid, featuring a chiral carbon, endows PLA with optical activity, resulting in variants such as PLLA, PDLA, PDLLA, and poly-meso-PLA.

PllaHAfill® (HA): PLLA Microspheres for Aesthetic Advancements PllaHAfill® is an innovative dermal filler that incorporates PLLA microspheres, known for their regular spherical shape.      This spherical form is preferred for its lower specific surface area compared to irregular shapes, which translates to reduced tissue irritation.The microspheres in PllaHAfill® exhibit a uniform particle size distribution within the range of 20μm to 50μm. This uniformity, coupled with advanced suspension dispersive microsphere technology, ensures an even distribution within the sodium hyaluronate gel, preventing microsphere aggregation and ensuring a smooth, natural-looking result.      

Product Function:

A Slow-Release Regeneration Post-injection, the PLLA microspheres in PllaHAfill®  (HA) gradually degrade, releasing lactic acid over an extended period of 24 months.

This slow-release mechanism is designed to stimulate collagen production in two phases: - Within the first 6 to 9 months, the cross-linked sodium hyaluronate gel metabolizes, and PLLA microspheres induce collagen regeneration.From 9 to 18 months post-injection, the PLLA microspheres further disintegrate, and the lactate produced reactivates collagen production, leading to a peak in collagen secretion.

Usage Guidelines:

- During use, the cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium gel is compatible with other treatments, ensuring instant tolerance.

- After use, the effects are long-lasting, with a recommended minimum interval of 9 months between treatments to allow for optimal collagen growth.
